On November 1, the Utah Division of Securities held a workshop for Investment Advisers on the new Form ADV Part 2, amended rules in Utah, the SEC's 2010 Custody Rule, and the IA Switch.

Welcome and Introductions                         by: Keith Woodwell & Dave Hermansen

Division Director Keith Woodwell welcomed all those in attendance. Director of Licensing and Compliance Dave Hermansen gave an overview of the IA industry in Utah and the Division's audit program. After introducing the staff, Dave also provided a handout listing IA Consultants available to assist advisers with the new Form ADV Part 2 and IA Switch concerns.
